I. LEGACY

Journey. The Last of Us. Ghost of Tsushima. Spider-Man. Uncharted. The trusted cinematic ear on some of the most culturally resonant games ever made — shaping how music breathes inside gameplay, with story as the constant compass.

Most recently: the music design of Ghost of Yōtei, including the score for the critical first hour — work on a BAFTA-winning score and an MPSE Golden Reel. He also composed the PlayStation Studios sonic logo: eight seconds heard by hundreds of millions.

II. FORWARD

The future of game music isn’t static scores in cutscenes — it’s living systems that respond, adapt, and co-author with the player. Ted builds tools and frameworks bridging AI, game engines, and composer intent.

He teaches adaptive audio at Northwestern Michigan College and Southern Utah University, consults with studios navigating the AI transition, and keeps the weird tools at Back Pocket Music.
